Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Jagadita Hospitality Consulting (“Jagadita”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit jagadita.com, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

1. The short version

We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not store the messages you send through this website on any server of ours. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them.

2. Information you give us directly

The contact form on our Contact page does not submit to a database or an email service. When you press Continue on WhatsApp, your browser opens WhatsApp with the text you typed already filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send inside WhatsApp itself, and nothing is stored on this website.

Once you send that message, the conversation is held in WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. We keep the enquiry for as long as needed to respond and, if we begin working together, for the duration of that engagement.

If you email us at hello@jagadita.com, we hold that correspondence in our email system for the same purpose.

3. Information collected automatically

Google Analytics 4 — only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful to visitors. It is loaded with Google Consent Mode set to denied by default. No analytics cookies are written until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage on your device only.

When consent is granted, GA4 processes your IP address (truncated), pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. Data is processed by Google LLC; see Google’s privacy policy.

Cloudflare Web Analytics — no cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic traffic counts. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites, so it runs regardless of your cookie choice.

Hosting and security logs

This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes connection data (including IP address) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

4. Third-party content loaded by this site

  • Google Fonts — typefaces are requested from fonts.gstatic.com, which means your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
  • Unsplash and Pexels — some photographs are served from their image CDNs.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only when you choose to open a chat.

We do not use Meta Pixel, advertising retargeting, or social media tracking widgets.

5. Cookies and local storage

Two things may be stored on your device:

  • jgd-consent (local storage) — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — set only after you accept.

You can clear both at any time through your browser’s settings for this site. Clearing them will make the cookie banner appear again.

6. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Visitors in Indonesia have comparable rights under Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.

7. Legal basis for processing

  • Consent — analytics cookies.
  • Legitimate interest — cookieless traffic counts, security logging, and responding to enquiries you initiate.
  • Contract — where we go on to provide consulting services to you.

8. Data retention

Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact unless a client relationship requires longer.

9. Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the “Last updated” date above will change. We encourage you to check it occasionally.
